A woman sustained bullet injuries to her hand in a firing incident in Dharavi area of Mumbai, a police official said on Monday, reported the PTI.

The incident took place on 90 Feet road in Dharavi on Sunday night, the official said, adding that the identity of the shooter as well as other details of the chain of events have not been ascertained as yet, said the official.

A thorough checking of CCTV footage from the vicinity was underway, the Dharavi police station official said.
