Midnight mobile theft racket at Mumbai's KEM Hospital busted; accused arrested

According to the police, the case was registered after a doctor attached to KEM Hospital lodged a complaint. The complainant stated that his Samsung A54 mobile phone, worth Rs 10,000, was stolen between 12.30 am and 7 am on January 4 from the hospital premises by an unidentified person

A 40-year-old man was arrested by the Bhoiwada Police for allegedly stealing mobile phones from the premises of King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital in Parel. Police recovered nine stolen mobile phones collectively worth Rs 1 lakh from the accused.

According to the police, the case was registered after a doctor attached to KEM Hospital lodged a complaint. The complainant stated that his Samsung A54 mobile phone, worth Rs 10,000, was stolen between 12.30 am and 7 am on January 4 from the hospital premises by an unidentified person.
