Two women have been booked for allegedly cheating him of Rs 3.60 lakh.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>How the scam worked</h2>
<p>April 2025: Sequeira contacted Ashna Shetty via a friend&nbsp;<br />Summoned to VA Immigration Consultancy, Evershine Mall, Malad West<br />Promised a Singapore office admin job at &ldquo;Lucky Global Services&rdquo;</p>
<h2>Payment made</h2>
<p>&gt;&gt; Paid R3.60 lakh via UPI and cheques in May 2025<br />&gt;&gt; Received the offer letter on WhatsApp<br />&gt;&gt; July 15: Claimed In-Principle Approval (IPA) visa approved<br />&gt;&gt; October 3: Flight booked from Mumbai to <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/air-india-announces-new-interline-pact-with-scoot-to-expand-southeast-asia-and-australia-connectivity-23607317" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Singapore&nbsp;</a></p>
