The rape and murder case of a dalit girl was solved by police after the arrest of the accused in Shahpur.

Police have arrested the alleged accused Ashok Baban Mukne, 33.


The 19-year-old engineering student was raped and killed here last Thursday.



The accused had kidnapped the girl and then raped her. After which he strangled her to death and dumped her body near Asangoan railway track.
