In the evening Mr & Ms University Mumbai finale was judged by Famous Model Hufriya Bhiwandiwala Kelawala and Producer – Director Randeep Mahadik, who recently directed serial Bawra Dil. The male second runner-up was Sahil Balani, first runner-up was Hrithik Shirsat and the winner of Mr University was Vansh Saluja. In the women section, the second and first runners-up were Shristi Mishra and Kashifa Shaikh and Ms University was Sejal Sharma. The audience choice male went to Gadir Abbas Rizvi & female to Shruti Tripathi. Special prize male went to Manas Awasthi & Mohammed Rashid and female to Saraswathi. Mr. Hugo D’Souza hosted the shows. The sleekness and pace of the show left the audience mesmerized and asking for more.
The grand India finale of Mr. & Ms. University and College Idol will be organized on a huge scale with lots of celebs and spectacular rounds on 25th March with contestants from all over the country.
In the meanwhile, NIEM achieved one more accolade; its Dean Dr. Hoshi Bhiwandiwalla received the Times Leading Icon for excellence in Education – Event Management. The honourable Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis presented the award.
