Yet I took it up without a second thought. When I was offered this project, I was at Mallya Hospital, awaiting the arrival of my second child. I did the designs and co-ordinated with my team from the hospital itself. It was easy for my clients to meet me, as the Kingfisher offices are close by on Vittal Mallya Road. We did the meetings in my hospital room.

"It was all a big rush, but I was committed. I bagged the offer on April 5 and had to deliver the clothes in three days. We picked the White Mischief colours white, blue and red. I called the models to the hospital for the fittings, as I was not able to go to the workshop. We did three sets of uniforms for the cheerleaders three sets each for the girls from the US, and for the girls from Russia. The girls from the US, who are currently in South Africa, required comfortable clothes for free movement, so I chose lycra.

"I even designed their pom poms and baton ribbons. The Russian girls, who are doing the promo rounds in India, are wearing leather skirts and tops. Our main motive was to make the clothes comfortable, user-friendly and stylish and glamorous," she explains.
