This weekend, do your bit by supporting an NGO, while you pick up rare titles at the annual Books on Toast sale in Bandra
So, for all of Mumbai’s book lovers, this promises to be a great opportunity to get your hands on rare books, even as you indulge in a few lip-smacking snacks at Bandra’s popular food joint, Candies; while doing so, you will also help in collecting money for the NGO Lok Seva Sangam, which runs schools for underprivileged kids and medical camps for the financially weak sections of the society.
Last year, books on Toast collected a total of '60,000 for the NGO Humara Footpath; this time around, they are aiming for a bigger target. Don’t miss this if you like reading and want to give back to society at the same time.
