<p>Jehangir Nicholson Art Foundation is currently hosting the exhibition, A Glazed History: Badri Narayan and the Vitrum Studio, that opened on June 14.</p>
<p>Established by Simon and Hanna Lifschutz, a Jewish couple escaping Poland during World War II, the studio was the offshoot of their industrial glassmaking enterprise and Badri Narayan was signed on with the studio as their first, and chief artist</p>

<p>From Sameer Kulavoor and Ronny Sen&rsquo;s response to the contemporary city, or Saubiya Chasmawala and Soghra Khurasani&rsquo;s explorations of identity and relationships, and Areez Katki, Rithika Merchant&rsquo;s take on familial, oral and cultural histories to name a few, the works question the artists&rsquo; role as a constructor of meaning.</p>
