A saree is one of the few garments that can be worn in a number of different ways. It may have had humble beginnings, but it is now every fashionista's go-to ensemble. In recent years, Generation Z has regained the saree by adapting it to its modern designs.
Priyanka Priyadarshini, category head, Navyasa by Liva sarees said, "Today's fashion thought leaders, such as new generation designers, creative artists, and fashion content providers, have affected trends by reinventing the garment with a fresh and new viewpoint, challenging the traditional feminine aesthetics associated with it. The saree is making a resurgence as loose everyday apparel, thanks to unique designs offered by fresh brains. Designers and stylists are abandoning traditional saree draping; instead of a petticoat, they wrap it around trousers and match it with bralettes and bikinis".
