Actor Anurag Sinha has been basking in the success of his recently released web series, Taskaree: A Smuggler`s Web. His portrayal of Prakash Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Customs in the series has been widely appreciated for its rawness and realism. When Anurag sat with mid-day, he spilt the beans on his character, his career in showbiz and even reacted if the show would return for a season 2.

Anurag opened up about his character in the series headlined by Emraan Hashmi, wherein he plays a customs officer, assigned as Assistant Commissioner of Customs to Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Mumbai International Airport to curb smuggling and corruption. He reveals that despite a simple role on books, he plays different shades. He shared, "So there are different shades I have played. These are some shades that I have not attempted before. But the arc and the journey of the character is such that it invites great intrigue, for me as an actor to explore my possibilities and explore new dimensions that I have not done before. So it was a great opportunity."
