Kartik and Sirat of Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are finally engaged, but that doesn't mean their problems have lessened. They go to the hospital where Ranveer has been admitted and are disturbed to see him in that state. While Sirat is in a dilemma whether to meet him or not, Ranveer's sister too reaches there.

She tells Kartik that Ranveer has taken a bullet for Sirat and that it is still there in his chest. Kartik is shocked to know that till now Sirat has misunderstood Ranveer.
