The reality show The 50 found itself at the centre of controversy immediately after its first elimination, as contestant Vanshaj Singh lashed out at team captains Karan Patel and Prince Narula following his exit. Vanshaj, a YouTuber and digital creator, became the first participant to be eliminated, a decision that quickly sparked debate among viewers and fellow contestants.
Soon after the episode aired, Vanshaj took to social media to vent his anger. Expressing disbelief, he wrote, “WTF?” in response to his early elimination. His frustration soon escalated into direct criticism of the captains involved in the decision. In a series of posts, Vanshaj mocked Karan Patel, calling him “mandbudhi,” and added a harsh personal remark, saying, “Hope your weak old joints pain today. You deserve to be sent to an old-age home. You have made a lifetime hater.”
