Sunil Pal and Kapil Sharma
Comedian Sunil Pal rose to fame with his craft in the early 2000s, long before stand-up comedy became mainstream in India. He was the first winner of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. Over the years, many comedians have come into the spotlight. Now, Pal largely makes headlines for his comments on fellow comedians. While he usually doesn’t say very flattering things about others, he recently called himself a fan of Kapil Sharma. However, he also took a dig at his show, which is currently streaming on Netflix.
Speaking on the podcast Meri Saheli, Sunil talked about his equation with Kapil Sharma. “I don’t have any issues with Kapil Sharma. In fact, I am a huge fan. Kapil has been running his show for over 12 years now. He has been doing a great job and always ensures his friends grow as well. He is the highest-paid comedian in the world.
