Gujarati actor Shruhad Goswami, widely loved for his portrayal of Krishna in the blockbuster Gujarati film Laalo, is all set to enter Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi for a special episode. In an exclusive chat with mid-day, the actor opened up about how the opportunity arrived, stepping into Hindi television for the first time, and what he hopes to learn from Smriti Irani.

Speaking about how Laalo paved the way for his entry into the popular TV series, Shruhad shared, “Because of Laalo, I came here. Laalo went well; it went very well. The film`s business is 100 crores.” The film’s tremendous success caught the attention of the show’s makers. “So, I got a call that there is a special episode, a special event. So, would you like to do it? I said, Why not? I`ll do it. And then we talked, and today I`m going to shoot.”
