Salman Khan`s remuneration for hosting the reality show, Bigg Boss, has often been a talking point among fans and the media. While several reports claim that the superstar charges a whopping amount that`s close to Rs. 1000 crores for the entire season, there`s no official clarification on the same. It was claimed that his per-episode remuneration went up to Rs. 12 crores. He makes bi-weekly appearances as the superstar hosts the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes.

In 2022, at the press conference of Bigg Boss 16, Salman addressed the rumour and gave a hilarious reply to charging Rs. 1000 crores for the show. "Those Rs. 1,000 crore, I was rumoured to be getting this year, I was about to return those. I was about to return the money I never got, so Colors will be in complete profit."
