After successfully anchoring the television show, Crime Patrol, and acting in daily soaps like Balika Vadhu and Saaya, actor Anup Soni now wants to shift focus to Bollywood.
The actor says, "I want to do more films now rather than television. I have done a lot of TV. I think I need to try something else. (The kind of work television offers is mostly typical.) I think in films, people will take a chance and give me something different to do." The actor says that he wishes to play "substantial and respectful roles".
Soni was previously seen in films including Fiza (2000), Raaz (2002) and Gangaajal (2003).
