It has been rumoured that Suriya's upcoming Tamil film Karuppu will be hitting the theatres on April 10. However, there was no official announcement from the makers. Now, RJ Balaji has put out a video saying that they will be coming up with an update in this regard in a week to 10 days' time.

RJ Balaji gives update on Karuppu

On Tuesday, director RJ Balaji posted a video clip of himself giving an update on the film. In the video shared on Instagram, the director said, "I know a lot of Suriya sir's fans are disappointed because it has been a long wait. I too have been doing this for almost two years. So, your wait will be worth it. We have no intention of taking time. In a week to 10 days, we will be meeting you with an update on when the film is to release."
