Rishab Shetty’s directorial Kantara Chapter 1 was released in theatres on October 2 and is currently enjoying a dream run at the box office, thanks to strong word-of-mouth publicity. The film, which explores the deep-rooted Daiva traditions of coastal Karnataka, is being hailed for its cinematic brilliance and cultural authenticity.

Kantara's special honour

As Kantara Chapter 1 continues its successful theatrical run, the film is now set to receive a special honour. According to a report by Hindustan Times, the movie will be screened at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday, October 5. Actor-director Rishab Shetty, actress Rukmini Vasanth, and producer Chaluve Gowda will attend the exclusive screening.
