After actors Trisha and Vijay, music maestro Ilaiyaraaja has become a victim of a bomb scare. The musician's Chennai studio became the target of a bomb threat recently. Reportedly, on Tuesday, officials received a bomb threat targeting Ilaiyaraaja's music studio in T. Nagar, Chennai.

Ilaiyaraaja receives bomb threat

According to a report in The Hindu, an email was received by Ilaiyaraaja and the DGP's office on Tuesday, claiming that an explosive was planted at the musician's studio. Acting on the mail, the police and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) rushed to the composer’s studio and conducted an extensive search.
