Malayalam cinema`s legendary superstar, Mohanlal`s mother, Santhakumari Amma, has died at the age of 90 after suffering from prolonged illness. The 90-year-old reportedly passed away at her son Mohanlal`s residence at Elamakkara, Kochi, today.

Mohanlal`s mother passes away

For the unversed, Mohanlal`s mother had suffered a paralysis attack over a decade ago, and was reportedly undergoing treatment at the actor`s Kochi residence for a long time. Mohanlal was reportedly by his mother`s side when she breathed her last. She spent a significant portion of her life in Thiruvananthapuram before moving to Kochi with her son.
