The famous Nandamuri family of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is mourning the loss of Smt. Padmaja, the wife of Nandamuri Jayakrishna. Padmaja reportedly passed away in the early hours of Tuesday. She was 73 at the time of her death. The family, which is best known for its contributions to cinema and politics, deeply respected Padmaja for her quiet dignity and grace.

Nandamuri Padmaja passes away

According to a report by Gulte, Padmaja had been keeping unwell for some time now and was under medical care. On Monday night, the 73-year-old reportedly experienced severe breathing issues and was rushed to the hospital. Despite receiving immediate treatment, she could not be revived. She breathed her last in the early hours of Tuesday.

The report also suggests that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who is also the son-in-law of the Nandamuri family, immediately left Vijayawada upon hearing the news to be with the grieving family. Meanwhile, BJP leader and Padmaja's sister-in-law, Daggubati Purandeswari, is also making her way from Delhi to join the family during this difficult time.
