The first look teaser of Yash, from his upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups, which was released in January 2026 on his birthday, has faced fresh trouble. This time around, from the Christian community. The National Christian Federation has filed a formal complaint against the film, alleging that it includes certain scenes that are offensive to Christians and disrespectful to their religious beliefs.

Christian group complaints against Yash's Toxic teaser

In its complaint, the NCF alleged that the film includes scenes that hurt religious sentiments and portray Christianity in a derogatory manner. The organisation has particularly objected to scenes involving Saint Michael the Archangel, claiming that the depiction is inappropriate and amounts to an insult to a revered religious figure.
