Chinmayi Sripada, a singer-dubbing artist, was blackmailed with a modified nude photo of herself on Wednesday evening. The actor took the matter to the Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police, VC Sajjanar, on social media and posted a video about being regularly threatened online in recent weeks.

Chinmayi stated that her husband, filmmaker-actor Rahul Ravindran, remarked on the mangalasutra a few weeks ago. Since then, she claims that the trolling against her and her family has grown. Posting the morphed picture and the video on social media, Chinmayi wrote, “I got a morphed image from a page today and tagged the cops - whether legal action happens will happen or not is not the issue.”
