Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 was all set to hit theatres on December 5. However, owing to a financial dispute, the makers had to push the release date. The announcement came on December 4, a day before the original release date. Latest reports suggest that lead actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has stepped in to help resolve the financial issue.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Balakrishna has willingly agreed to adjust nearly Rs 20 crore from his fees to help producers settle their dues. The makers are currently fighting a court battle at the Madras High Court, where a connected petition is pending. The case is reportedly in its final phase and is expected to be settled soon.
