March 19, 2025 is turning out to be a fierce battle with multiple big films set to release on the same day. After the makers of Ranveer Singh starrer dropped the teaser of Dhurandhar 2 on Tuesday, the stakes have considerably increased with Yash`s Toxic also slated for a roaring release. Amid this, if reports are to be believed, Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur`s highly anticipated pan-India action drama Dacoit, which is also planned to release on the same day, could back out of the race.

Dacoit to be postponed?

Dacoit was initially set to release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Eid and Gudi Padwa holidays. However, looks like the makers are considering a new release date for the film, consequently avoiding a box office clash with Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar 2 and Yash starrer Toxic.
