South Korean model and TV star Kim Jong-Suk passed away at the young age of 29. The news was confirmed by his family on June 6. In their statement, the family mentioned that he had passed away earlier in the week. Fans of the star, as well as his colleagues from the entertainment industry, are in mourning. However, speculation surrounding the cause of his death has become a topic of discussion on social media. The family did not disclose the reason behind his death, adding to the rumors, including speculation about suicide.
According to Korean media reports, Kim was linked to an incident in Hana, Gyeonggi-do, shortly before his death. While officials have not confirmed any connection between Kim and the man involved, the timing of the events has led to speculation about Kim’s passing.
Kim’s family, aware of the rumors circulating online, issued a statement urging people not to spread false information. Kim's elder sister took to social media to share the message on behalf of the family, "We are in the middle of funeral preparations, overwhelmed and heartbroken. But I’m seeing so many baseless and false claims spreading across online communities. At first, we chose not to respond, hoping Jong-Suk could rest in peace. But now, it has gone too far."
