Mexico’s government has stepped in to manage the overwhelming demand for tickets to BTS’s 2026 ARIRANG world tour, as excitement around the group’s long-awaited return continues to grow. The K-pop superstars are scheduled to perform three concerts in Mexico City on May 7, 9 and 10, 2026, marking their first full-group shows in the country in over a decade.

Mexico Government intervenes

With ticket sales approaching, thousands of fans raised concerns about a lack of clarity surrounding prices, seating layouts, and the overall purchasing process. In response to these complaints, Mexico’s Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (PROFECO) intervened, urging ticketing platforms and local promoters to ensure complete transparency before sales begin. The agency stressed the importance of revealing ticket prices, additional fees, seat maps, and clear terms and conditions to protect consumer rights and prevent confusion during the high-pressure ticket rush.
