With demand far exceeding expectations, Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum has formally requested additional concert dates, highlighting the massive cultural impact BTS continues to have across the globe.

Mexico`s President requests for more shows

The group is currently scheduled to perform three shows in Mexico City at the GNP Seguros Stadium on May 7, 9 and 10, marking their return to the country after several years. However, ticket sales for these concerts sold out within minutes, leaving a vast majority of fans without access. Addressing the issue publicly, President Sheinbaum revealed that while approximately 150,000 tickets were available, nearly one million fans attempted to secure seats.
