The excitement around BTS’s Arirang world tour has reached extraordinary levels in Mexico, prompting an unprecedented response from the country’s leadership. With demand far exceeding expectations, Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum has formally requested additional concert dates, highlighting the massive cultural impact BTS continues to have across the globe.
The group is currently scheduled to perform three shows in Mexico City at the GNP Seguros Stadium on May 7, 9 and 10, marking their return to the country after several years. However, ticket sales for these concerts sold out within minutes, leaving a vast majority of fans without access. Addressing the issue publicly, President Sheinbaum revealed that while approximately 150,000 tickets were available, nearly one million fans attempted to secure seats.
