Rapper Sean `Diddy` Combs, who was arrested last year and has been facing serious criminal charges, has been convicted of a prostitution-related offence. Additionally, he was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. The court`s verdict could potentially put one of hip-hop`s most celebrated figures behind bars for life. Notably, the mixed results came on the third day of deliberations.

Court`s verdict on Sean `Diddy` Combs`s sexual crimes case

The court convicted the 55-year-old rapper of flying people around the country, including his girlfriends and paid male sex workers, to engage in sexual encounters, which is a felony violation of the federal Mann Act. On the other hand, the jury consisting of eight men and four women acquitted Combs of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. This was related to allegations that he used his money, power and frightening physical force to manipulate his girlfriends into hundreds of drug-fuelled sex marathons with the men.
