Hollywood actress <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/hollywood-news/article/rebel-wilson-bride-hard-jackie-chan-inspiration-nunchuck-injury-23574655" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Rebel Wilson </a>has come to the realisation that she will never have a "bikini body", and has made her peace with it.
The 46-year-old star shared a positive message about body image to her Instagram Stories, and she expressed her gratitude to her anatomy for getting her through life, reports &lsquo;Female First UK&rdquo;.
Rebel wrote, "I don't think I'll ever have a bikini body, that's just not me. But my body has carried me through this life and I am so grateful for it&rdquo;.
The &lsquo;Pitch Perfect&rsquo; star, who previously lost 60 pounds during her "year of health" in 2020, explained that she has been making lifestyle changes but is also reliant on weight-loss medication.
Rebel wrote, "I'm trying to get my daily steps, do a <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/buzz/article/an-exclusive-interview-with-swapnil-kokam-indias-only-actor-and-certified-pilates-instructor-4477" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Pilates </a>class once or twice a week, some strength training when I can, eat as healthy as I can. But let's face it I love sweets so I need those GLP's from time to time to give a little help&rdquo;.
As per &lsquo;Female First UK&rsquo;, the actress explained that she was more concerned about being healthier rather than concentrating on the scales when she lost a lot of weight in 2020.
She told People at the time, "You never want it to be about the number, because it really isn't about that. It's about, I was doing some unhealthy things to my body and I just wanted to change it and become a healthier person&rdquo;.
Rebel revealed last year how "<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/buzz/article/eating-right-to-sleeping-well-sun-pharma-shares-8-daily-habits-for-a-heart-healthy-life-9136?button=next" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">healthy habits</a>" are pivotal for both her physical and mental health. The Bridesmaids star said in a message to her Instagram followers, "Ok, so you delete some things from your life that are unhealthy and pick up some healthy habits. So not just focusing on but trying multiple healthy habits, which will be a struggle. I might have to write myself a little checklist on a post it note and make sure I&rsquo;m trying to do each thing each day. But I tell you what, if you can get into a really good groove with all these healthy habits, it can be really great for your physical and mental health and that&rsquo;s really important&rdquo;.
Rebel subsequently encouraged her followers to update her on their progress. "I just want you guys to be the healthiest versions of you that you can be. Congrats to everyone that's been on the challenge. Let's go hard week six. Let's do it&rdquo;, she added.
