According to Vogue, the 22-year-old singer is currently working on her fourth album and says that that she is getting inspiration from a past relationship.


"There's just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak, and that will turn out to be what the next album is about," CBS News quoted her as telling the publication.


Although Swift didn't drop names, it's a guy from her past. The pair dated back in 2010, and reports at the time said Jake Gyllenhaal dumped her.

Swift, though, maintains that song writing serves as a kind of therapy for her.u00a0 "The only way that I can feel better about myself -- pull myself out of that awful pain of losing someone -- is writing songs about it to get some sort of clarity," she added.
