The 30-year-old Oscar-winning actress, who is taking some time off from Hollywood following the birth of her son Aleph with partner Benjamin Millipied last June, will star in 'Knight of Cups' and 'Lawless', reported Ace Showbiz.

'Knight of Cups' also stars Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett and Isabel Lucas and as the plot remains a secret. Portman, Bale and Blanchett will also star in 'Lawless', as will Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and Haley Bennett and again the storyline is not known.

Last month, it was revealed Portman was "seriously" considering a lead role in 'Jupiter Ascending'. She is also expected to take part in the forthcoming 'Thor' sequel as Jane Foster alongside Chris Hemsworth as the titular Marvel character.
