Irrfan and Kapadia have been friends since they worked together in 'The Warrior', which was also the 48-year-old actor's first international film.

"I am glad to host this screening for my dear friend Asif and really looking forward to the film," said the 'Piku' star.

As Kapadia will be out of India during its premiere tomorrow, Irrfan will take over as the host for the event.

Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, actor Arjun Kapoor, filmmakers Karan Johar and Anurag Basu are expected to be present at the screening.

'Amy' is scheduled to release worldwide on July 10.
