An Indian classical music group sang soulful songs and bhajans on stage in honour of Dharmendra.

Hema Malini delivered an emotional speech remembering her late husband, as her daughters stood by her side. 

The prayer meet was also marked by a special documentary on Dharmendra`s life being screened at the venue.
