Actress Yami Gautam has cut her hair short for a role in her upcoming untitled film.

According to a source, the 26-year-old was asked to don a short hairdo for a scene. Instead of wearing a wig and making it artificial, she thought of cutting her hair short in real.
&ldquo;Her hair has been cut into a fringe and the look suits her a lot,&rdquo; the source said in a statement.
This is not the first time the &ldquo;Vicky Donor&rdquo; actress has cut her hair short. Earlier this month, Yami posted on Twitter a throwback image of her flaunting short hair for an ad shoot.
&ldquo;Fukrey&rdquo; fame actor Pulkit Samrat will star opposite Yami in the film. The director, story and release date are yet to be announced.
