Initially reluctant about dating someone from the film world, Vijay revealed, “When I started out, I thought I would not be with an actress or anybody from the industry, primarily because I was probably very resentful of the industry." However, he later realized that it could be fulfilling to have a partner who came from the same professional world - and understood the complexities and the dark side of showbiz. "Yet, when Tamannaah and I began our relationship, I realized the benefits of being with someone familiar with the intricacies of this business.
