Late industrialist Sunjay Kapur’s wife, Priya Kapur, has been fighting a legal battle with his family over the ownership of his Rs 30,000 crore estate. As per the latest development, Rani Kapur has now filed a fresh case in the Delhi High Court against her daughter-in-law Priya Kapur and actress Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan. Alleging fraud, forgery, and misuse of her vulnerable condition, she has sought restoration of her assets.

Late industrialist Sunjay Kapur`s mother has approached the Delhi High Court seeking that their family trust be declared "null and void". In her lawsuit, 80-year-old Rani Kapur said the trust, which was constituted in her name in October 2017, was a product of "forged, fabricated, and fraudulent" documents.
