Sunita Ahuja, Govinda`s wife, has spoken openly about her husband`s lousy company and habit of surrounding himself with pandits and astrologers. In a recent podcast, she claimed that the actor spends more than Rs 2 lakhs on a puja, as recommended by fortune tellers. She also revealed how his circle gives him bad counsel and won`t let Govinda listen to his own wife.

Sunita Ahuja talks about Govinda spending on pujas

During a chat with Paras S Chhabra on the Abraa Kaa Dabra Show, the host and Sunita were discussing how some pandits do not have the appropriate intentions when Sunita said, "We also have one in our house, Govinda`s pandit. He is also like this: get pujas done and contribute Rs 2 lakh. I tell him that you should pray on your own; puja paath kuch kaam na aane wala hai. God will accept the prayers you offer on your own. I don`t believe any of this. Even if I donate or perform a good deed, I do so with my own hands to build my karma. People get afraid."
