Ace cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palaash Muchhal were supposed to get married on November 23. However, hours before the ceremony, the wedding was postponed. This happened after Smriti's father got ill and had to be hospitalised after he exhibited heart attack-like symptoms. However, soon after, social media was flooded with allegations that Palaash had cheated on Smriti during the wedding week.  Now, as the dust settles on the controversy, a new marriage date for the couple has surfaced. 

Smriti Mandhana's brother reacts to new wedding date 

As speculations around the new wedding date gained momentum, Smriti's brother Shravan Mandhana cleared the air around the rumours. Talking to Hindustan Times, he said, "I have no idea about these rumours. As of now the wedding is still postponed". With this he has put the rumours of the new date to rest.
