Since the first week of 2025, Vishal Bhardwaj has been thinking, breathing, and shooting his next with Shahid Kapoor. Now, it’s almost at the finish line. Sources have told us that the filmmaker kicked off the final schedule of the action thriller, reportedly titled Romeo and starring Triptii Dimri as the female lead, in Spain last week. The 10-day schedule will see the completion of a high-octane action sequence and a dance number, after which it will be a wrap. 

According to sources, over the last few days, the unit filmed an elaborate action set-piece in Malaga. An industry insider told mid-day, “The action scene, shot with Shahid and several stunt artistes, makes use of Spain’s rugged terrain. The song, on the other hand, is vibrant and features the lead pair. The actors will begin filming the dance number on Friday with a large ensemble. This schedule will end on August 25, after which Vishal sir will dive into the film’s post-production. The VFX and initial post-production work have already begun in Mumbai.”

Slated to release on December 5, the slick action thriller marks the fourth collaboration between Kapoor and Bhardwaj after Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014), and Rangoon (2017).
