Filmmaker Rohit Shetty who will be soon returning with the Golmaal franchise has issued a strong statement on reports around his film. He has issued a clarification with regards to his upcoming film Golmaal 5. The director has said through his team that the film is not based on or inspired by the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer ‘Do Aur Do Paanch’.

On Monday, Rohit Shetty's team took to Instagram, and shared a note in which they called out media houses for publishing factually incorrect news pertaining to the film.
