Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty has come under the spotlight after a shocking firing incident outside his residence in Mumbai, prompting authorities to take strict legal action. The shooting reportedly took place in the early hours of February 1, when unidentified assailants fired multiple rounds near his Juhu home. Although no injuries were reported, the incident triggered immediate concern within law enforcement agencies and the film industry due to its brazen nature.

New developments in the case

Following the attack, Mumbai Police launched a detailed investigation through the Crime Branch and Anti-Extortion Cell. Officials soon detained several suspects believed to be connected to the case. Investigators tracked key evidence, including the motorcycle allegedly used in the crime, with the help of CCTV footage and forensic inputs. Preliminary findings suggest that some of the accused may have travelled from Pune to Mumbai specifically to execute the plan before attempting to escape.
