My parents are music enthusiasts, and fully support my brother (Palaash) and me. I started singing since the age of four. My mom ensured that I got the requisite training for playback singing. She also got an Urdu tutor for me. She&rsquo;s quite protective and always accompanies me on my recordings and parties. And they are certain rules we have to follow. Around the worldu00a0 Till date, I have been to Nairobi, London, Dubai, Amsterdam and Bangkok. I love concerts because of the high of &lsquo;live&rsquo; performances and the fact that I get to travel. Moreover, people abroad contribute generously for my cause. Singing along I am a huge fan of Shreya Ghoshal. Her voice has a wonderful soulful quality to it. I also admire Shalmali Kholgade for her stylish renditions. I enjoy Honey Singh&rsquo;s party numbers as well. Music going hi-tech I think technology in music has been of great help to singers. Life&rsquo;s much easier for us. Also, people hear new genres of music, which is a great thing. A thing like dubstep, which was unheard of a year ago is now finding a place in Indian music.u00a0
