Palak Muchhal, Palaash`s sister, has revealed that her brother`s wedding to star cricketer Smriti Mandhana has been postponed. The couple planned to marry on Sunday in Sangli, Maharashtra, where the cricketer grew up. However, Smriti`s father suffered a health scare and had to be admitted to the hospital, bringing the festivities to a halt.

Palak Muchhal confirmed the postponement

"Due to Smriti`s father`s health, Smriti and Palaash`s wedding has been put on hold. We would request all of you to respect the privacy of the families during this sensitive time (sic)," Palak Muchhal penned on her Instagram handle.
