However, the journey was emotionally tough for the couple, as the little one faced several health complications due to premature birth. In a recent interview, Nick Jonas got teary-eyed remembering how nurses resuscitated her.

Speaking on the Jay Shetty Podcast, the singer revealed that their daughter was born purple and underwent six blood transfusions. "We were expecting her to arrive in April, the year she was born. Then we got a call that it was going to be sooner... We got to the hospital and came out 1 pound, 11 ounces, and purple basically," the singer said. He added how the nurses in the NICU resuscitated her and took care of her.
