Meera started her career with the Tamil film "Anbe Aaruyire" in 2005 and worked in many Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films before making her debut in Bollywood with "'Gang Of Ghosts' in 2014. On the work front, Meera Chopra was last seen in the web series 'The Tattoo Murders', which was earlier titled Kamathipura'. Some sections of society had a problem with it. They thought we were depicting Kamathipura and the sex workers in a negative light. To avoid controversies, Disney+Hotstar decided to change the title to 'The Tattoo Murders'. Apart from Meera, the Disney+ Hotstar series also features Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Tanuj Virwani, who will be seen essaying a negative role. The web series has been written and directed by Shravankumar Tiwari.
