After a brief break, Shah Rukh Khan will resume filming Siddharth Anand’s King from December 20. The new schedule will feature stylised, high-octane action sequences, making it the film’s most demanding and action-packed leg yet

Unstoppable action is what we got in the first look of King, which was unveiled on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on November 2. And there is more action coming. mid-day has learnt that the superstar, who briefly shot for Siddharth Anand’s directorial venture in early November, will resume filming on December 20, kicking off what will be the movie’s most action-driven and technically demanding portions.
A source revealed that Anand, along with international stunt directors, has chalked out several set-pieces for the leg that will be primarily conducted in Film City, Goregaon. Suhana Khan, who shares screen space with her father for the first time, will be part of this stint. “Shah Rukh has been prepping extensively for this schedule. Stylised action blocks, intense close-combat sequences, and dramatic confrontations will be filmed,” revealed the source close to the production.
