Karan Johar, opened up about his latest directorial venture during a recent interview, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', which has received a positive response at the box office. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles, with Tota Roy Chowdhury essaying the character of Alia's father, a professional Kathak dancer.

Karan revealed that Tota's character in the film holds a special connection to his own childhood. He recalled how, during his college days, he faced ridicule and teasing due to his effeminate body language and his penchant for dancing to Hindi songs in his room. However, he mentioned that his father, the late Yash Johar, always encouraged him and appreciated his dancing, even showcasing it to his friends with pride.
