Actor Abhishek Bachchan paid a touching tribute to his father, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, at the Filmfare Awards 2025 on Saturday night. The day coincided with senior Bachchan's 83rd birthday as well. Sitting in the audience were Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan and Navy Naveli Nanda. 

Abhishek's tribute to his father and love for his mother

Taking the stage, Abhishek performed a lively medley of some of Big B's most popular songs from over the decades. The performance evoked nostalgia in the crowd for Big B's timeless contributions to Indian cinema. Abhishek also walked down the stage and shared a moment with his mother, veteran actress Jaya Bachchan, who was seen visibly emotional as she watched her son's performance from the audience. Abhishek prompted her to get up from the seat and she twirled making for a memorable mother-son moment.
