In a historic stride towards cinematic prominence, the 77th edition of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival saw the esteemed participation of Jammu and Kashmir for the very first time.
The Jammu and Kashmir Booth, nestled within the vibrant Bharat Pavilion at the Cannes Film Market (Marche du Film), was ceremoniously inaugurated by esteemed dignitaries including Jawed Ashraf, Ambassador of India to France, and Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
